サンフランシスコ出身の４人組。シューゲイザ―／エレクトロニカ・バンドのHalouが改名し、Stripmall ArchitectureとしてKilk Recordsより待望の2ndアルバムがリリース！賑やかで煌びやかであり、エレクトロニカやシューゲイザ―のファンにはバンド名に違わぬ選り取り見取りの名曲が連なる傑作！ベテランによる懐古主義的なリヴァイヴァル・ブームに肖った類ではなく、世代を超えた普遍性と今の時代に則したポップなサウンドが満載。ソングライターのRyanはRadiohead、DJ Shadow、UNKLE、 Robin Guthrieなど多くの作品に関わってきており、今作でも見事にその手腕を発揮している。美しいフィードバック・ノイズとRebeccaの清らかで優しい歌声に微睡みながらも、キラキラとしたシンセ・サウンドとダンサブルなビートで弾けたりと遊び心が散りばめられたドリーム・ポップ仕様！
